Abstract

During the reconstruction of the surfaces and modification of car traffic in Národní Street and in the vicinity, archaeological monitoring was carried out by the Museum of the Capital City of Prague, which focused, among other things, on the repair of the existing street storm drains. On that occasion, an early medieval grave was discovered at the mouth of Mikulandská Street into Národní Avenue in the shaft of a newly constructed street drain, which is probably related to a large burial complex that we already know from the past existed in this area at the southern edge of the Old Town agglomeration.
