Abstract
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Czechoslovakia (the Czech Republic) and Uruguay the Centre of Ibero-American Studies of the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University in cooperation with the University of Hradec Králové and the Honorary Consulate of Uruguay celebrated an international conference with assistence of four academics of the Centre (S. Binková, J.
Opatrný, R. Buben, L.
Perutka) and various ex-alumni of Iberoamerican Studies of the Centre, as well as of academics of other Czech and Uruguayan Universities.
