Abstract
The study deals with three phases in the life of J. J.
Rückl. The first outlines his study years in Czechoslovakia and France.
The second phase deals with Rückel's activities in institutions that dealt with issues of scientific management. The last part focuses on Rückel's mediation activities among economic elites in Czechoslovakia.
