The Magic World of Children's Literature: Text-Image-Sound in Children's Literature and the Teaching of RFL
Abstract
The book is devoted to the role of children's literature in the teaching of prospective teachers of the Russian language, especially to the use of audiovisual aspects, working with children's songs, films, cartoons, theatrical performances, book illustrations. In the context of current globalization tendencies, the emphasis is placed on the intermingling of different cultures and their influence on children's literature.
The book analyses the connotative shifts in the translations of children's literature into the language of cinema, the legacy of the classics of children's drama, cinema and cartoons. The book can be of interest to scholars, students, foreign language teachers, all those interested in the field of children's literature and children's reading.
