Abstract

On the one hand, the discovered isolated fi nds do not enable us to specify the chronological system of a particular type of object, on the other hand, the simple registration of these items can be useful in understanding their original distribution network as well as the settlement structure during a particular period. Publication of basic data is fundamental for further research on the Early Middle Ages in the south of Bohemia.

It is not without interest that two of the published items (a strap-end made of brass and a spearhead with a facetted crosssection of the socket) represent likely imports from the Mediterranean and the Frankish Empire.
