Martial arts as a basis for self-defense and their relationship to legal norms

Abstract

The publication is divided into nine chapters. After the introduction, in the first part of the work, the characteristics of martial arts and combat sports are performed.

The second part outlines the role of moral freedom in preventing the misuse of knowledge of martial arts and combat sports, and the third part outlines the issue of assessing the circumstances precluding illegality. In the fourth part there is an analysis of the obligatory side of the crime - ie fault and in the fifth part the intention as one of the forms of fault that can most often be counted on when the crime is caused by an informed person - a student or practitioner of combat sports or martial arts.

The sixth part of the thesis deals with the necessary defense as a circumstance precluding illegality, and the seventh part of the thesis outlines the mechanism for proving the material and formal aspects of the crime of personal injury. The eighth part deals with the ethical values of martial arts affecting moral freedom and in the ninth part is a proposal of the activities of a coach or teacher of martial arts or combat sports in the prevention of violent crime of his students or practitioners.

In conclusion, the author proposes some activities and areas of action, which in order to improve and ensure preventive action in this area is essential to supplement the activities of teaching and education of coaches and teachers and which directions must focus the activities of educational and training institutions in this area.
