Abstract

Congenital cataracts or congenital cataract (KK) is a disease of the eye lens as decrease in the transparency diagnosed immediately or soon after birth. Subsequent restrictions pulses of light penetrating the optical axis of the eye on the retina, and induces secondary deprivation amblyopia binocular vision.

Early diagnosis and timing of surgery along with long-term visual rehabilitation, the path to success. The goal of a comprehensive treatment process is to prevent amblyopia and create conditions for the best possible development of visual function at an early age.
