It does not matter whether the study of proper names is related to the solution of logical problems, a place in semiotics or analytic philosophy - almost always it is about problems of designation. However, the work of Yuri Lotman and Boris Uspensky "Myth - name - culture" (1973) allows us to ask the question: "Are there cases when a proper name does not designate?"
