Abstract

Mediation is a broadly useful method of alternative dispute resolution. The analysis carried out detailed the order of the first meeting with the mediator by the court (Section 100(2) of the Civil Procedure Code) and discussed the specifics of family mediation, which focuses on the resolution of conflicts arising from family relations.

Its definition may include not only matters concerning the raising and maintenance of minors, relations of parents, grandparents or other persons with them, but also, for example, disputes concerning the matrimonial property.
