Abstract
The analyse is one of two main results of the project "Direct Election of Mayors" (Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, TL02000540) , which was elaborated by the consortium of the Charles University and the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. The analyse was elaborated according uniform framework and consists of nine case studies of European Countries.
The analyse is based on study of foreign literature, law and governmental documents so as semi-structured interviews with foreign experts.
