In this study, we optimized a method for the determination of monosaccharides in glycoproteins. Capillary electrophoresis with contactless conductivity detection was used for the separation of eight monosaccharides commonly found in glycoproteins in alkaline background electrolyte.
The limits of detection were between 5-7 mg L(-1) and the limits of quantification were between 16-22 mg L(-1).
