Abstract

The publication deals with the methodology of preparation, execution and evaluation of tests. In ten chapters, this book not only offers a practical guide to the methodology and tools for compiling and evaluating your own tests, but also presents a well-founded and comprehensive theoretical basis, examples from various fields and levels.

The authors understand knowledge assessment as a form of communication between teacher and students and as an integral part of informed teaching. Beginners as well as advanced in the field of testing will gain awareness of standardization, reliability and validity of the test, security or even newer and rapidly evolving methods (eg open book testing).
