Glossary III: Differences in the scope of compensation under the Pandemic and Crisis Act - or what about lost profits and wasted costs?

Publication

Abstract

The Pandemic Act provides for derogations from the general civil law regime for the exercise of the right to compensation. The extent of damages, resp. damage will thus not be the same in all cases, but will depend on the applicable legal regime for its application.

The content of this gloss is a comparison of the approaches of both relevant regulations, ie the Pandemic and Crisis Act, against the background of the general regulation, which is the valid Civil Code.
