In the context of university studies, the COVID-19 epidemic posed a challenge not only for the education itself, but also for other related areas, such as the psychological well-being of students. Students with specific needs may be at higher risk of developing psychological problems, while within those who have psychological problems in their primary diagnosis, is increased.
Psychological and special education counselling thus plays an irreplaceable role in the success of many students with specific needs. The paper presents the testimonies of the staff of counselling centres of public and private universities, who, through semi-structured interviews, answered the question of what changes the content, forms and topics of counselling services have undergone during distance learning.
