Abstract
The education of women before pregnancy, or in the first days to weeks of pregnancy, plays an important role in the development and development of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). It is necessary to inform the mother about the basic principles, causes and risks of GDM, emphasize short-term and long-term risks, draw attention to the possibility of developing GDM in subsequent pregnancies and acquaint the woman with the consequences of incorrect, neglected or ignored treatment.
It is important to teach the pregnant woman how to use the meter.
