Abstract
In the methodology, we describe how to properly use and create quality open educational resources (OER), we focused especially on resources based on the MediaWiki software. We deal with what prerequisites for the creation of quality online resources need to be provided, e.g. in terms of content, work of the editorial team, technical parameters of the environment, etc.
The methodology can be used by those who create educational materials of this type as well as for those who use them because it can help them orient in the information environment.
