Abstract
In pediatrics, a new serious disease has emerged - the covid-19 multisystem inflammatory response syndrome in children (PIMS-TS; referred to in the United States as MIS-C). It occurs several weeks after coronavirus exposure to SARS-CoV-2.
The essence of the disease is a delayed aberrant immune response in predisposed children, which leads to the development of vasculitis and mainly affects the myocardium, but can develop into multiorgan failure.
