Abstract

This presentation Fox's natural habitat has transformed significantly by influence of human civilization. From a wildlife omnivore foxes have got to live in specific connection with human.

In this presentation we will discuss several kinds of specific inter-species connectivity between human and foxes. While some foxes have maintained their wilderness or have adapted to live near human, others have been caged and bred for fur.

Some of them have been intentionally domesticated and some of them have become very popular among social media. This presentation provided an overview of various forms of fox's naturalness transformation.

Four main specific topics linked to human-foxes connectivity which has transformed fox's naturalness the most were presented: foxes as liminal animals, intentionally domesticated foxes, farm-foxes, and changing human's attitude to foxes.
