The introductory study to the Italian translation of the edited anthology of the journalism of Adolf Kajper (1902-1959) - the monograph Presence is God's Own Time - presents the life of this Czech Jesuit, priest, preacher and journalist, who was imprisoned by the Nazis and the Communists and died in prison in the reputation of martyrdom; highlights the main accents of his conception of the mission of the Catholic periodical press and the so-called press apostolate; adds an editorial note. Extending the introductory study are factual notes on each text.
