Abstract
The monograph Voice of the Soul is the first volume with a forthcoming set of interpretations of the Psalms. The interpretation of the psalms is based on a synchronous analysis of the Hebrew text in two perspectives: the author of the psalms (the world of the text) and their users (the world of the listener).
Emphasis is placed on the continuity (function of the psalm in context) and the spirituality of the psalmist's statement, intertextuality and place in worship are taken into account. The monograph first presents an introduction to the methodology of interpretations, then a study of the use of psalms and then an analysis of the first thirty psalms.
The structure of interpretations is uniform: description of the psalm, interpretation of verses, analysis of words.
