Abstract

Olomouc Bishop Karel of Lichtenstein Castelcorna purchased a collection of paintings that had previously been offered to Emperor Leopold II. and he didn't buy it. It was offered by brothers Franz and Bernard Imstenraedt, nephews of the famous collector Eberhard Jabach IV, who acquired individual pieces from the collections of the English King Charles I and Earl Thomas Howard of Arundel.

Most of the images it was composed of were found. Today, in addition to the original collection of the Olomouc archbishops, they are mostly in leading foreign collections, for example Staatliche Sammlungen Dresden, Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, Museo Civico Modena, etc.
