Abstract
Epstein has published nearly 100 works on various pediatric issues. Many of his detailed studies were devoted to soor, he systematically dealt with childhood tuberculosis, he also devoted himself intensively to its prevention, he also dealt with the issue of vaccination against tuberculosis.
Important publications dealt with the nutrition of infants and older children. Surprisingly, he was interested in the theory and practice of reflex theory by I.
P. Pavlov.
The Czechoslovak state appreciated its activities in the field of childcare by granting the Labor Code, only a year later, before the Order received prof. Swiss.
The editors of the journal Czech-Slovak Pediatrics repeatedly recalled his significant anniversaries.
