In this article the author shares her experience of creating an electronic textbook of Russian culture of Russia for Czech college and university students and senior school (lyceum) students. That collective work where concept approach is announced as the principal one has become one of the first methodological teaching aids of this time in teaching Russian as a second or third foreign language.
The author shares the challenges faced by the authors of the textbook when writing the texts and creating the criteria for selection of the most important cultural concepts included in the electronic teaching aid ((The Cultural History of Russia}} (Prague, 2020).
