Abstract

A review of John Leonard's book entitled The Value of Milton, which appreciates Leonard's close reading approach to Milton's poetry. Itt shows how Leonard demonstrates Milton's mastery of language, his ambivalent usage and wordplay, and teaches both wide readerships and critics that Milton's works accommodate multiple viewpoints.
