Abstract
The publicly available online interactive application calculates the direct losses of private and public budgets due to the exclusion of full-time exclusion caused, for example, by the covid-19 pandemic. In addition to the basic user settings, the application offers key parameters, which include average earnings from the additional year of education, the effectiveness of distance learning, life expectancy, number of pupils and students.
The basic parametric setting shows that the losses of private budgets in the form of lost future earnings caused by one week of exclusion from full-time teaching in the Czech Republic reach CZK 25 billion and an additional 8.5 billion in the form of lost revenues of public budgets.
