Opportunities and Challenges of Pregraduate English Teacher Training at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University

Abstract

The study presents a model of English teacher training at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in the context of the development of various models of pregraduate English teacher training and provides the genesis of the study programmes English Language with a Focus on Education and Teaching English Language and Literature for Secondary Schools.
