The publication is dedicated to the topical methodological issue of teaching Russian as a foreign language (RKI) distantly. The article represents the results of the student survey conducted in a Czech and Russian universities for the purpose of identifying the position of the students on the pros and cons of distantly teaching classes in Russian as a foreign language.
We asked the students to evaluate separately how their motivation level changed under distance learning. The authors share their experience of searching for efficient forms of work intended to activate learning activity of students and to keep up motivation when working distantly.
