Colonial hunting and Czech travellers in Africa in the late 19th and early 20th century

Abstract

The paper dealt with Czech travellers in Africa and their relationship to colonialism. Although the Czech travellers were members of a state without its own overseas colonies, many features typical of European colonial discourse can be found in their hunting narratives and representations of nature.
