Abstract
This case report describes a retrospective case of awareness during anesthesia, the consequences of which are still manifested 35 years after the event. Although this complication is rare, it can have long-term effects.
An overview of the incidence, risk factors, prevention options, and what to do if awareness during aaesthesia occurs is presented.
