Abstract
The paper describes a simple model of a loudspeaker: a styrofoam plate around which a few dozen coils of wire are wound and magnets close to it from the side. It describes how to make this simple device, points out the technical details that must be observed, and gives experiments that can be done with the "singing plate".
It also presents an inexpensive amplifier module available that can be used to supply a given speaker with a musical signal.
