The chapter is part of a monograph on the CSM Pioneer Organization and, for the first time, processes various communication strategies of Czechoslovak State Film and Czechoslovak Television on how to communicate not only with pioneers as a target group, but in what forms and The regime used the positions to promote the pioneer movement in Czechoslovakia. The chapter notes a certain ambiguity and problematic one-sided interpretation and focuses on three basic positions: a) the pioneer as a goal, b) the pioneer as a tool and c) the pioneer as a means.
The main of the analyzed programs by Jindřich Fairaizl (1967) Painted Children also gave the title to the entire monograph.
