Before you is a short guide to the Orthodox faith, written in a lively and accessible manner for the contemporary reader. The first section of the book is is devoted to the basic beliefs of the Orthodox Church: the doctrine of God, of Jesus Christ, of the Holy Spirit, of the Church, of baptism and the resurrection of the dead.
The second section deals with moral themes, the Ten Commandments of the Old Testament, the New Testament Beatitudes, the love of God and neighbor, and such concepts, such as sin and repentance, and also touches on family ethics, education children, etc. The third section deals with the sacraments and the rites of the Church, Prayer and worship, the furnishing of the church, and church festivals.
