In my paper I will present first preliminary conclusions or even hypotheses of our oral history research of the covid-19 pandemic in the Czech Republic, which has been conducted by the teachers and students of the Oral History - Contemporary History study program (Faculty of Humanities, Charles University) and researchers from the Institute of Contemporary History at the Czech Academy of Sciences (namely Miroslav Vaněk and Pavel Mücke). I will focus on the first interpretative conclusions of our interviews as well as on their on-line presentation.
Special attention will be paid to the symbol of this conference, namely to the question: is or will be the pandemic another phenomenon, which will create borders among people? Do we have to deal with the new "us" and "them" dichotomy and what does it represent?
