Abstract

Identifying patients with an increased risk of early recurrence of colorectal lesions is still a problem. In our study, we focused on improving this identification by determining the mutation profile of index lesions.

We found a statistically significant association between the mutation in exon 7 of the TP53 gene in the index lesion and the risk of early metachronous adenoma.
