Abstract
In Africa, education is a crucial topic for future development. As UNESCO data shows, even before the covid-19 pandemic, Africa was the continent most affected by poor school attendance, i.e. the continent showing the highest percentage of children and youth who remain completely or partially outside the education system.
The question of education, with all the aforementioned interrelated aspects, will play a pivotal role in the development of local African economies. The chapter deals with the related issues of inclusion of any disadvantaged persons in the education process, which is still rather less developed in many African countries.
