Abstrakt
Chapter explains the term teichopolitics coined by F. Ballif a S.
Rosière in 2009. Both authors consider teichopolitics to be the new geopolitical era characterized by agressive forms of border hardening in reaction to migration.
The era presents anti -thesis to previous era of globalization and discourse on diminishing role of political borders as the outcome of inter-state integration.
