Abstrakt
Communication is essential for a high-quality and full life of every individual. Communication is a fundamental human right and it should be possible for all individuals, including those whose ability of verbal communication is hindered by a combined disability.
It is necessary to know functionality of communication skills for set up appropriate augmentative or alternative form of communication. A classification determines the degree of functional communication in people with cerebral palsy was published in 2011.
The translation for Czech practice is currently being created within the project No. 832120 entitled Alternative and Augmentative Communication as a Means of Communication of Persons with Combined Disabilities.
