The study, which is presented in the contribution, is carried out with the support of the Charles University Grant Agency in the Czech Republic. Its objective is to identify the obstacles that arise when carrying out daily parental activities of women with chronical mental illness, caring for a child or children under the age of 7.
The results of the study will contribute to the knowledge of the needs of a numerically significant minority of women - mothers with mental health disorders, which is currently growing not only in the Czech Republic. From a psychosocial point of view, the results will also contribute to the destigmatization of these women.
