Platform work in the Czech Republic and consequences of the EU Draft Directive

Abstrakt

The lecture was focused on the Czech legal concept of dependent work, legal and tax differences between an employee and an enterepreneur (a self-employed person) under the Czech regulation, introduction of author's research in 2019 regarding legal relationship between platform and a "service provider" and analysis of problematic parts of draft of directive on improving working conditions in platform work.
