The lecture focuses on the presentation of the immediate reaction of the staff of the Academic Counseling Office of the Faculty of Education, Charles University to the crisis situation at the beginning of the war in Ukraine. On three specific case studies, he presents the possibilities of crisis intervention and the advantages of early response as prevention of the development of larger stress reactions that can lead to the development of psychological trauma.
The theoretical part focuses on the development phase of subsequent psychological trauma and the possibility of working with it in the limited conditions of a counseling center.
