A VIDEOSTUDY - STUDENTS-LECTURER INTERACTION DURING PHYSICS DEMONSTRATIONS USING CATEGORICAL SYSTEM

Abstract

This paper presents basic information about a conducted study of video-recordings of physics demonstrations for upper secondary school students. The aim of the study is to analyse the interaction between the lecturer and the audience and to compare several thematically different physics science shows with regards to this analysis.

In this paper we present a categorical system that was developed for this purpose. Results of the study show high diversity in-between different topics, which can affect students' perception of those performances.
