Peacekeeping missions are controversial topic that can damage the reputation of an international organization (IOs). For this reason, the IOs try to bring the subject closer to the citizens and inform them about it.
The article suggests that the concept of public diplomacy is the most comprehensive for analysing the relationship between peacekeeping mission and the public. The article compares KFOR and UNMIK public diplomacy.
The comparison is divided into two dimensions - tools and topics of public diplomacy. The paper finds that the tools and the topics used by KFOR and UNMIK differ according to their functions.
