Cultural contacts and interactions between the Philistines, Canaanites and Judeans in the area of cult

Abstract

At the end of the Late Bronze Age sparked the movement of some ethnic groups from the Mediterranean to Canaan. The Philistines established five major cities-Pentapolis.

In many respects (e.g. cult), these well-planned cities reflected the earlier Mycenaean or Cypriot traditions.
