Abstract
Which psychological aspects influence the way we learn a foreign language? Is it enough to watch TV series? What role does language aptitude play? Learning a foreign language is a complex problem. In this paper, we will look theoretically and practically at how some aspects of our personality can limit us.
We will discuss why even very advanced learners are distinguishable from native speakers in their language production and what can help us take our language skills to the next level.
