Abstrakt
The text deals with sources for the perception of Tibet in the Czech-speaking environment. After a brief comment on paradigms concerning Tibet, sources of inspiration like travels, exhibitions, publications and the development of academic institutions are described.
The focus is also on the influence of Theosophy up to the 1990s. Subsequently, the situation and paradigm shift of the 1990s is analyzed through the concept of Tibet as a brand or product in spiritual marketplace.
