Abstract

Equality is presently one of the most discussed aspects of the curriculum and its revisions. This study focuses on gender equality in the curricula of three countries whose curricular documents have been recently revised and which are characterized by diametrically different social discourses - Sweden, Ireland, and the Czech Republic.

The study analyzes and then compares the curricular documents and shows where the space for gender equality in the documents opens up and how the issue is treated.
