Abstract
Headaches remain a great affliction for many patients - despite the great advances of modern medicine. Although most headaches are not associated with mortality or long-term consequences, they are conditions that significantly impair quality of life.
The book is divided into three sections, the first of which presents different types of migraine, the second is devoted to secondary headaches and the third to facial pain. Each chapter has two parts - the first consists of its own case report, the second has the character of a textbook text introducing the doctor to classification, diagnosis and modern treatment options.
The Guide to Headaches in the form of a case study textbook is a publication intended for clinical practice as well as for preparation for specialist examinations in neurology and other relevant fields.
