Abstrakt
In recent years, rural schools have attracted renewed interest from educational researchers. One of the key reasons is the need to understand the growing polarization between the values and opportunities available in metropolitan areas and other parts of the country.
In this study, we are looking for an answer to the question of when rural schools are also an attractive choice considered by urban parents. More specifically, we analyze cases where students transfer to small and/or rural schools for various reasons during primary school attendance.
