According to current research and practice, gifted and exceptionally gifted pupils (hereinafter referred to as "gifted pupils") are a neglected group. In order to achieve the individual needs of a gifted pupil, it is necessary to adapt the content, methods and form of education so as to ensure development support according to the type of talent.
The study presents the results of a qualitative survey, which was carried out using in-depth interviews with teachers at a selected elementary school. The results provide insight into the work of teachers dealing with with gifted pupils under conditions of inclusive education.
