Semaglutide: a simple solution of a common barrier in the intensification of diabetes therapy

Abstract

In this case report the oral form of semaglutide proved to be a very effective choice of therapy in a diabetic with poor diabetes control. This treatment significantly decreased the patient’s body weight, while it also effectively and safely bypassed the patient’s specific phobia of injections.
